Simone Carty is a Brighton and London based sound recordist and composer who has travelled the world recording sound and composing music for film, television, branded content and theatre.

With over a decade of experience, Simone is a trusted collaborator to production companies and agencies with credits such as BBC, Netflix, Sky, Amazon and TLC to name a few. Known for her calm, focused presence on set, Simone delivers clean, production ready sound in demanding environments.

Alongside her location sound work, she composes original music for TV, film and theatre that enhances narrative and emotional depth. Simone previously held management roles at Funky Junk, one of Europe’s leading pro audio specialists, working alongside Fox Productions, The Rolling Stones and Calvin Harris. Simone also holds a degree in Music Performance from the University of Westminster.
